Widlcats had English, Science, Socials, Math, and Art today.  Homework--> Math:  study for tomorrows little quiz on Volume and Surface Area of Rectangular Prisms & Finish up to question 21 on your purple exercise.  Science--> finish as many of the plant review questions as you can.  If you are stumped skip the question and take it down tomorrow when we go over it as a class.  English-- study your 'F' vocab and get your story ready.  Socials- your racism poster is due Jan 20th; don't leave it until the last minute.

Wildcats had PE, Math, Socials, French, and Exploratory today.  Homework- Finish your green volume & surface area exercise (green) for tomorrow.  Wed Jan 21 your final copy of your short story and your racism posters are due.  We'll have only 2 more lab bookings devoted to working on these.  Homework may be required.

Wildcats were introduced volume and surface area today in math.  Homework- finish q#1-7 on your green Volume & surface area exercise.  During English Wildcats investigated the paragraph and discussed how to paragraph in their story constructions.  Students under took a Plant classification lab today during science.  Some students managed to finish classifying the presented plants; extra time will be provided tomorrow for the entire class to wrap this lab up.  Art- Wildcats had their art class in the compute lab today and learnt how to use basics in Photoshop.

Wildcats had French, Science, English, and PE today.  Weekend homework- Math-finish your hand and foot area's for Monday.  Science- finish the five assigned 'seed plant' questions.  English- correct your short stories returned earlier this week.  Remember to bring in $5 for rock climbing.

Wildcats had Math, English, French, Exploratory, and PE today.  Thursday organization check cut into French block.  We'll make up the French tomorrow.  Homework- Math- finish your take home quiz (pink paper) and 'foot and hand area' assignment for tomorrow. English- review the rules of dialogue and capitalization investigated today.  Remember to bring in your $5 for rock climbing.

Wildcats cats had their weekly academic day with Science, English, Math, Socials, and Art.  Students investigated seedless plants today during Science, wrote a perimeter & area quiz during Math, started redrafting their handed back short stories in the computer lab during English, discussed and investigated the causes and solutions to racism during Socials, and worked on Logo design, and 'mash ups' during Art.  Homework--> finish your five seedless plant questions for science and review your formulas for areas of rectangles, triangles, parallelograms, and trapezoids for math.  Students are also encouraged to start constructing their paragraph answers to 1) What is racism? 2) Why are people racist ?and 3) How can society rid racism? that are due for the end of next week.

Rock Climbing!!  Wildcats had a blast today at Stelly's Boulder Gym.  Many students managed to climb to the top of the large wall, but everyone definitely had fun.  No new homework;  Finish your homework assigned Monday though--> Finish the front page of your area and perimeter exercise (yellow paper) for Math and finish your six questions from your 'Intro to Plants' during Science.  ***Remember to bring in your $5 dollars to pay for our rock climbing today.
