Hump day.  Wildcats had a busy hardworking day.  Math, Science, Computer Lab, English, and Art.  In Math students reviewed the rules of measuring and drawing different angles and were introduced to angle laws for triangles and angles in parallel lines.  During English, students read their first science fiction story for grade six.  Characteristics that make Sci Fi successful were discussed.  In Science students were introduced to a new life form- Bacteria.  Wildcats learnt the basics of bacteria and then were given a "Wanted" Bacteria caused disease assignment during our computer lab period.  The poster is due Wed Dec 16th, the same day the draft short stories are to be submitted for holiday reviews.  Homework:  Math- finish up to question 17 in your new angles "Smart Math" exercise.   Science:  Finish your 7 Bacteria comprehension questions for tomorrow.  Remember to have your agenda signed by your parent/guardians within the last week for tomorrows agenda check.  It is recommended that you plug away at your Science and English assignments  (poster and short story)due in two weeks.
