Science 7—Class got back and went over their chapter 2 quizzes.  Jags then were introduced to their next chapter of study- The role of Humans in Ecosystems.  Comparison and contrast between aboriginal and European perspectives towards nature was discussed.  Homeworkà Questions 1-3 on page 61.

 Final due date Wed Oct 29, 2014.  Read introduction to chapter 3.

 Math 8:  Jags continued learning about fractions.  Equivalent fractions, lowest common multiples, adding, subtracting and multiplying fractions were introduced.  Homeworkà Text book page 108 questions  9-19 odds only & WB questions page 50&51 (most students finished the workbook questions in class)

Science 8:  The need and importance and characteristics of cell division was tackled.  Homeworkà TB pg#50 questions 1-3.   Finish Pathogen Assignment “Pathogen Wanted” poster with 10 criteria points listed on your handout.  Final due date Wed Oct 29, 2014. 

Math 7:  Jags completed an integer quiz.  Up next fractions.  Homeworkà Read introductory pages to fractions Chapter 3 in your textbook.
