Math 7—Jags today again reviewed and practiced factoring to prime numbers as a strategy for reducing fractions.  They then continued with their decimal study and transitioned from rounding and estimating to multiplying and dividing decimals by the power of ten.  HomeworkàJump Math Multiplying Decimals– pg 152-155.  (pink booklet).

Science 7- Students had their weekly computer lab time and spent it researching an endangered animal.  Endangered animal reports are due Tuesday Nov 25.   Continue monitoring your consumption for your Ecological Footprint task due Tuesday Nov 18.***Ecological Footprint tasks now overdue.

Math 8-  Students reviewed  division of fractions in word problems.  Jags then were introduced to dividing mixed fractions.  Homework- Finish Exercise set 1.5 pages 34&35.

Science 8-  Jags wrote a circulation & respiration quiz.  Circulation & respiration were reviewed.  Blue check your understanding study questions on circulation and respiration were delved into.  Homework—finish blue ‘Check you Understanding’ questions on Respiration and Circulation for tomorrow.
