Math 7—Jags today applied their factoring to reducing fractions.  They then continued with their decimal study and transitioned into adding and subtracting decimals.  HomeworkàJump Math adding and subtracting decimals up to end of Page 149.  (pink booklet).

Science 7-Jags today learnt about ecosystem reconstruction after pollution.  The Echiman river in Quebec was discussed as a case study.  Homeworkà Find out what water bodies Victoria depends upon.  Alsoà Continue monitoring your consumption for your Ecological Footprint task due Tuesday Nov 18.

Woodwork 8-  Students were given a demo on cutting the keys for their miter joints and how to make the separation cuts on their boxes.   Jewelry box construction will continue through next week with some students finishing their wood with stain or clear coat.
